By fall 2010 Broco Group is planning to launch Meta Trader 5 (MT5) live trading. Recently Broco has obtained a license from MetaQuotes software developer which grants Broco the right to provide MT5 to its clients. A period of three months will be granted to test this platform, in order to eliminate any software malfunctions, and to ensure a great quality of service. This testing period is important in order to preserve the trading conditions of the MT4, that are currently available, and to offer the access to the Exchange to all clients. A list of securities available in MT5 will also be finalized.
According to Vladislav Posivenko, the head of Broco technical department, the new MT 5 platform is a logical extension of MetaTrader 4, and it was designed and optimized for both FOREX and CFD trading (unlike its previous Meta Trader 4 version). At the same time Meta Trader will remain user friendly for both beginners and pros.
MetaTrader 5 features the following options:
DOM (Depth Of the Market) which provides real time exchange volumes traded;
new order type, Stop Limit, which is a stop order designed to set limit order;
up to 21 different timeframes;
possibility to save historical data in M1 mode which offers additional efficiency;
new language for programming, MQL5. Herewith MQL5 as a language used to program trading strategies is 5-20 times faster in comparison with MQL4.
